The pilot-controlled valves are very flexible due to the many possible combinations of functions. They consist of a valve installed in the main pipe and a pilot controller installed in the bypass line.
The function of the controller, e.g. pressure control or flow rate limitation, is determined by the pilot controller. In case of small flow rates the valve is closed and control exclusively takes place via the pilot controller.
Possible Control Functions
- Reducers
- Relief controllers
- Safety controllers (SAV- and SÜV-function)
- Differential pressure controllers
- Flow controllers
- Differential pressure and flow controllers
